Maintenance Mode

What a week! Our old friend, Dr. Joe Carr from North Carolina, was supposed to be in Brazil this week on a mission trip, but got canceled due to the bankruptcy of the Brazilian airline they were to fly on. Since he had not scheduled any patients for this week, we invited him to come to DFW and see us - so he did. Duane picked him up at the airport Saturday afternoon and took him back early Thursday morning. In the meantime, we had lots of discussion time, great and intense prayer times, story telling time, time for Debbie to ask hundreds of health related questions, and late night talks, in addition to celebrating the 4th of July with a BBQ with friends. Duane also took a couple of days of vacation in order to have time to spend with Joe.

But the best news was going to another Naturopath's office and using his microscope so that Joe could look at Deb's current blood samples on July third. As we expected, it looked very good. Praise God!! As a result, Debbie will cut back on the medicinal dosages of her supplements to more of a maintenance mode and even cut out a couple of them. That is good news. We probably could have done that a bit sooner, but it is much better to err on the side of caution, which we did. We just praise God for the way He has answered many prayers on her behalf.
