No News = Good News

I took Deb to the oncologist today. Her blood work was normal - although that does not include the M protein cancer marker, for he didn't see any need to measure that this time - it hasn't changed since September (0.1). She did spend an hour and a half taking aredia (the fossamax type bone builder) intravenously. She will do that every other month indefinitely. She continues to feel good, her strength, energy and stamina are practically normal, and her back pain continues to diminish (it occurs mainly for a minute or so when she stands after having been sitting for an hour or so, and at the end of the day after she has been on her feet for several hours). She is helping teach a couple of discipling classes for women, and our lives are now approximating the normalcy we knew some 15 months ago. We just believe that God is doing something marvelous in her body. She is NOT yet in a complete remission, but we (Deb and I, not the oncologist) believe that she will get there. So keep beseeching the Father for complete healing that only He can give. We will not go back to the oncologist in two months at which time he will do a complete blood check including the M protein. Another plus was that our Naturopath also cut out some of the supplements she was taking, and diminshed the amounts and frequency of others. So we both feel that major progress has been made- Praise the Lord....!
